A Harvest of Heritage and Innovation

From humble beginnings to becoming Rhode Island's trusted source for premium organic produce — our journey is rooted in respect for the land and dedication to quality.

The original Bishop family farm in Smithfield, Rhode Island

Where It All Began

What started as a 50-acre family operation in 2012 has blossomed into a 500+ acre agricultural enterprise. The Bishop family — three generations working side by side — saw an opportunity to bring genuinely fresh, locally-grown produce to restaurants and retailers across New England.

We didn't just want to grow vegetables; we wanted to revolutionizing how people think about farm-to-table sourcing. That meant investing in sustainable practices, building state-of-the-art cold chain facilities, and developing relationships directly with chefs and buyers.

Our Values Guide Every Harvest

These principles shape how we farm, pack, and deliver — every single day.

01

Soil First

We build soil health through composting and crop rotation, avoiding synthetic inputs that deplete the land.

02

Water Wise

Our drip irrigation systems reduce water usage by 40% while delivering precisely what each plant needs.

03

Biodiversity

We plant cover crops and maintain wild corridors, encouraging beneficial insects and pollinators.

04

Zero Waste

Imperfect produce goes to local food banks; packing materials are 100% biodegradable or compostable.
